New CPD activities for GPs

Thanks to your insightful feedback at various consultations, and in response to RACGP and ACRRM CPD requirements, we have enhanced our online training modules:

• Module 1: Smoking Cessation Brief Advice Training for General Practitioners
• Module 2: Vapes: Considerations for Health Professionals
• Module 3: Supporting Pregnant Women to Stop Smoking

GPs can now complete up to six optional activities, including three 0.5 hour Reviewing Performance / Performance review activities and three Measuring Outcomes / Outcome measurement activities up to 1.5 hours approved by RACGP and accredited by ACRRM. These follow on from the existing Educational Activity (EA) modules and can be completed after each EA, providing opportunities for reflection, consolidating your learning and using the information in your practice.
